Scoring, stated plainly
How a sitting's score is read
A sitting reports the number correct, always. The AAMC converts a number correct to the section scale by equating for each test form and publishes no fixed conversion table. Each form in this wing therefore carries its own conversion table, fixed when the form was authored and displayed with every result it produces. That table is the product's estimate for that form. It is not an AAMC conversion, and no percentile is read against a single section: the AAMC's percentile summary speaks of total scores.
